Java Developer

Responsibilities include both front-end and back-end detailed design, development, and unit testing of all code developed. Additional responsibilities include documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development for various applications. Position includes new J2EE development and also support to the existing systems.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of experience

REQUIRED SKILLS: Software development process in one or more areas: RUP, Agile, Extreme Programming, Lean POJO. Hands on experience on: Servlets, JSP, EJB, Frameworks like Struts, JSF, Spring, Tapestry. Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or iBatis Java-based development and configuration management: preferred ones are Eclipse; JDeveloper, Ant, JUnit, PVCS, Subversion. Knowledge on One or more RDMS Databases like: Sybase, Oracle, MySQL.
Experience on developing web services using SOAP, WSDL, XSDs and REST. Operating systems: Solaris, Windows, Linux
Working knowledge of industry standard development practices and concepts: preferred ones are SOA, UML, MVC Development experience in popular relational databases.

The candidate must also be able to pass the client's credit check.
