Job Description



Must be 4 to 5 years of development experience in FrontOffice and in java and oracle related technologies



Roles and Responsibilities:



• Analysis of Service Requests

• Preparation of Technical and Design documents

• Preparation of Test Plans

• Coding by strictly following the guidelines

• Unit Testing of CRs/Issues/ITSRs/ARs

• Peer Review/Code Review

• Testing of modules in Development / UT regions

• Preparation of Project Documents

• Communication with customers on assigned work

• Participate in Internal and External Audits

• Follow defined Processes and Procedures

• Capable to work on multiple applications/systems

• May have to work on other technologies as per the reqt



Technical Skills required:



Thorough knowledge in current versions and concepts of :

Object Oriented Programming

Core java and advanced java

JSP, Servlets, JSF, Web Services

XML, XPATH, XSLT, AJAX, UML and Design Patterns

Struts, SPRINGS, Hibernate

Oracle Database: RDBMS Concepts, writing and debugging SQL and PL/SQL programs.

Development experience in Accenture Life insurance Platform-ALIP, FrontOffice, Sound knowledge on Underwriting Process, Underwriting works and requirements are required.

Hands on experience on IBM WAS/RAD, Oracle SQL Developer, Tomcat, and Eclipse, SVN is must.

Experience in Image Repository System (FileNet), Workflow packages like Automatic Work Distributor (AWD), WebI reports is added advantage.

Candidates with SCJP, SCWCD, SCBCD and OCP are preferred.



Secondary Skills:



Good written/oral Communication skills in US English Language.

Should have Good knowledge in CMM Processes & Procedures

Prior experience or basic understanding of Insurance business and Business Automation Process is required
