Job Description

This role may be located in either client location: Boston, MA or NYC, NY

Scope:

Digital Infrastructure team for a NYC technology company seeks a Senior Back End Developer (Java/Scala)

to help improve and grow systems and networks that power the client's advertisement business.

Requirements:

Experience across a variety of web services stacks.

Experience with implementing web services in Java.

Experience with relational databases (familiarity with NoSQL and ElasticSearch is a plus).

Experience with Scala or other languages with strong FP features.

Experience with cloud providers such as AWS.

Experience with, and a preference for, Scrum/Scrumban processes built around github flow.

Experience with Spark and Data Bricks platforms.

Experience working with Big Data projects.
